Making A Purchase
You can pay securely online using a
credit or debit card. Alternatively the Purl
City Yarns team are also here to take your orders by phone and chat
through
your yarn requirements. You can give us a call on +44 (0) 161 425 3864
Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 6pm, Sunday between 11am and 3pm

If you are shopping from outside the UK, place
your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to
your own currency. We only accept payment in UK Sterling.
We
accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. Your order will de depatched as
soon as possible (usually within 2 working days if everything is in
stock) and any out of stock items wil be sent on as soon as possible. We
will always try and contact you if this is the case. You may send your
credit card information via phone, fax, post or over the internet,
although this is at your own risk.
Remittance Terms If you choose to pay online (through Worldpay or Paypal) full payment is taken at the time of placing the order.

Delivery Schedule
We aim to deliver your order as soon as we can. Our target is to
despatch your order within 2 working days of you placing it, provided
everything is in stock. Where an item is out of stock you will be
contacted about the back order. You will not be charged any extra
postage charge for items sent seperately. International orders are
generally received in under 14 days, however, please be aware that due to increased US Customs security checks orders to the US can take longer to reach their destination. We have absolutely no control over this.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will
always be contacted with the option to cancel or alter your order if you
would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.
If you are ordering from the EU with a valid EU VAT number, please check
the box in the 'Taxes' section (on Checkout Page 1) and enter the
number. If you check the box and do not enter a valid VAT number we
reserve the right to cancel your order and refund your payment for it.
All
other orders are VAT free and VAT will automatically be deducted as
soon as as you enter the country for your shipping destination. Prices
are shown including VAT.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is
placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they
reach our payment system. They are not held in clear text on any web
site.

We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are
used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your
shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery
addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you
select the 'Remember Me' Option.
Returns Policy
You have the right to cancel an order within seven days of receipt of
the goods. Should you wish to cancel your purchase within seven days,
please contact us. Providing that unwanted goods are received back to us
in unused, unopened and resaleable condition within seven days of
delivery, we will refund payment for the goods.
Orders placed by credit
or debit card from this web site will be refunded directly to your
credit or debit card.
We
cannot accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged during
transit. You are advised to wrap the product carefully to avoid damage.
You are also advised to return goods by recorded delivery, registered
post, or by courier.
Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of
delivery. Please remember to give us your name and address, and a copy
of your purchase receipt. The cost of returning goods will be borne by
you. In the unlikely event that you receive damaged goods, or items are
missing from your parcel, please notify us within 7 days of receipt and
goods will be redispatched on return of faulty items.
